مدافعو حقوق المستهلكين يتكاتفون من أجل “تحول عادل نحو أنماط حياة مستدامة”

الجزائر، 13 مارس 2025
– بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لحقوق المستهلكين، الذي يصادف 15 مارس 2025، تنخرط منظمتنا، إلى جانب نظيراتها عبر العالم، في حملة دولية تهدف إلى تعزيز “تحول عادل نحو أنماط حياة مستدامة”، بالشراكة مع مختلف الفاعلين في مجال حماية المستهلك، والمنظمات الدولية، وحلفائها.

يأتي هذا التحرك في ظل التحديات البيئية الكبرى التي يواجهها العالم، بما في ذلك التغير المناخي، والتلوث البيئي، وفقدان التنوع البيولوجي، والتي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على جودة حياة المستهلكين. ومن هذا المنطلق، تدعو منظمتنا إلى جعل الخيار الاستهلاكي المستدام أكثر توفرًا، وسهولة في الوصول، وميسور التكلفة للجميع، بما يراعي احتياجات المستهلك ويضمن الحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية للأجيال القادمة.

التحسيس والعمل المشترك من أجل مستهلك واعٍ ومستدام
تسعى منظمتنا، بالتنسيق مع جمعيات حماية المستهلك على المستوى الوطني والدولي، إلى تنظيم أنشطة توعوية، ولقاءات تحسيسية، وحوارات ، بهدف تسليط الضوء على العقبات التي تحول دون تبني المستهلكين لأنماط حياة مستدامة، والعمل على إيجاد حلول فعالة تضمن انتقالًا بيئيًا عادلًا.

في إطار هذه الجهود، تعتزم “Consumers International” تنظيم قمة عالمية حول “أنماط الحياة المستدامة” في 15 مارس 2025، بحضور مسؤولين حكوميين، وممثلين عن الشركات، ومنظمات حماية المستهلك، لمناقشة سبل تسهيل التحول نحو الاستهلاك المستدام. وستمثل هذه القمة فرصة لتبادل التجارب الناجحة، وتقديم اقتراحات ملموسة من شأنها تمكين المستهلك من اتخاذ خيارات أكثر استدامة، وضمان انتقال عادل يراعي مصالح الجميع.

يُعد هذا اليوم، الذي يتم الاحتفاء به سنويًا بمبادرة من “Consumers International”، مناسبة هامة لتسليط الضوء على القضايا الاستهلاكية الملحة، وتعزيز الجهود المبذولة لحماية حقوق المستهلكين. كما يمثل فرصة لدعم خيارات أكثر وعياً ومسؤولية، تسهم في تحقيق توازن مستدام بين احتياجات الأفراد والحفاظ على البيئة.

Consumer Rights Advocates Unite for a “Fair Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles”

Algiers, March 13, 2025 – On the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day, observed on March 15, 2025, our organization, alongside its global counterparts, is engaging in an international campaign aimed at promoting a “fair transition to sustainable lifestyles.” This initiative is carried out in partnership with various consumer protection stakeholders, international organizations, and allies.

This movement comes in response to the major environmental challenges facing the world, including climate change, environmental pollution, and biodiversity loss, which directly impact consumers’ quality of life. From this perspective, our organization calls for making sustainable consumer choices more accessible, affordable, and available to all, while considering consumer needs and ensuring the preservation of natural resources for future generations.

Awareness and Collective Action for Conscious and Sustainable Consumers
In coordination with consumer protection associations at the national and international levels, our organization seeks to organize awareness-raising activities, informational meetings, and dialogues. These efforts aim to highlight the obstacles preventing consumers from adopting sustainable lifestyles and to work towards effective solutions that ensure a fair ecological transition.

As part of these efforts, “Consumers International” plans to host a global summit on “Sustainable Lifestyles” on March 15, 2025. The summit will bring together government officials, corporate representatives, and consumer protection organizations to discuss ways to facilitate the shift towards sustainable consumption. This summit will serve as an opportunity to share successful experiences and present concrete proposals that empower consumers to make more sustainable choices, ensuring a fair transition that considers the interests of all.
This day, celebrated annually under the initiative of “Consumers International,” is an important occasion to highlight pressing consumer issues and strengthen efforts to protect consumer rights. It also represents an opportunity to support more conscious and responsible choices that contribute to achieving a sustainable balance between individual needs and environmental preservation.
